Jaume Prohens was born on the island of Mallorca, where he still lives and works. His work can be seen in the National Collection of Spain and his drawings, especially, follow the dark, symbolic tradition of Spanish creatives such as Goya and Garcia Marquez. Current projects include illustrations for Spanish classics 'Don Quixote' and 'Platero and I'.
